First let me start by saying that there are hundreds of thousands of ways to make money online. There are niches out there that haven’t even been thought of yet. You just may have one of those niches at your disposal and don’t even know it. Your niche can be anything from what you do for a living currently, a hobby that you have or your favorite sport. This can even go further if you just sit down and start writing some of these things down on paper and then go do a search online to see what kind of information is out there about it. Sometimes you’ll even start seeing niches inside of niches, or sub-niches.

Some niches are very competitive on the other hand. Take for instance, the golf niche. There are a lot of websites promoting everything from how to improve your golf swing to, being a better putter. The poker playing niche has a lot of competition and the weight lose niche is filling up pretty fast too.

Now for the big daddy of them all the “Make Money” niche. Is this niche over saturated? Many would argue that it is, and I wouldn’t argue with them at all. This niche is indeed heavily saturated and the competition is fierce. So, knowing this you still may want to dive in and have a go at it just like I have. For whatever reason I wanted to start with this niche, well actually one reason is that even though it is a heavily saturated niche it is still the most lucrative to this day. The reason being is that for all the other undiscovered niches there will still need to be people there to show them how to profit from their niche. On top of all that, I truly believe most of the people involved are going about it in totally the wrong way.

The Internet is by far not finished growing yet, the first wave is over and the second is just now starting to grow legs. This, I believe is the best time to get into starting an online business if there ever was. There is a new economy emerging, I believe, and it is going to be online. So there is going to be plenty of room for people to get in on the ” Make Money Niche.”

As I have stated, this niche is very heavily saturated, yet what is it saturated with? It’s definitely not full of people who want to truly show you how to become successful. It’s full of people who want to sell you hyped up, unrealistic dreams. It’s saturated with people who want to lead you deeper and deeper in debt before giving you something with real value, if ever giving it to you at all. Most give it to you all right, but what there giving you sure as heck isn’t anything of value.

There are a few guys/girls who are starting to stand apart from the rest, if you really dig you can find these people. If you have found me, I am one of these people who is not only going to do my best to provide you with information you can use to make money before spending to much if any at all to get started, but also someone who digs and digs until finding the credible people in this niche truly trying to help people and make a living doing it.

Modeling yourself after these people would be the best thing you can do. Providing people with value and things they can use NOW to make money without  sucking them dry with lies and under-handed tricks, is going to gain a trust with new customers that can’t be broken. It’s going to provide you with repeat business not just a one time sale, like the rest of these knuckleheads are doing. I guess we can thank these people come to think of it, because after dealing with someone like them they’ll be ecstatic when they find you or me.

So, even though the “Make Money Niche” is saturated, it’s saturated with the wrong type of people, therefore this is a perfect time to get in a steal their customers right from under them and send them back to the 9 to 5. If you dig your heels in and bust your hump you can achieve great things in this niche. I don’t care what you hear, nothing happens over night and success doesn’t come without hard work and sacrifice.

I try very hard to be selective when it comes to the products I promote and the affiliate programs I choose to be a part of. I spend hours sorting through all the crap to finally get to the gems. Here is yet one more way to advertise your blog I bet you probably haven’t heard or thought of. This is a very easy and FUN way to advertise and you do it by joining a community  based website  to advertise your blog or website. People have created communities with similar interests and are visited by people who are searching for their niche or ways to make money online. Some examples of a community based website would be:

• Live Journal
• Gooruze

Just to name a couple. You can do a search on Yahoo or Google and find a community in just about any niche that you can think of and they are great places to advertise.  If you can’t find a community on your subject than this would be a great opportunity to create one.

For example, say that you love blogging about books, horseback riding, and skiing in Tahoe. All you have to do is look through the communities for ones that have those interests and join them.

Another great thing about communities is you can join as many of them as you want. Now, you don’t want to get out of control and not leave yourself time to implement other strategies, but this is something you should  seriously consider doing.

You want to get involved and post something related to the topic as well. Don’t just post one line of text and expect people to want to visit your blog. Get involved and interact, you just might strike a joint venture or learn some other valuable information.

This post is short, but I had to show everyone who might see this post what I was just sent in an e-mail. This is a metaphorical way ( if that’s even a word) to look at how you make money online. Just keeping it real. It gets easier, but you have to strive for it. If you buy the hype you’ll be highly disappointed.

When you want something whether it be success, money, or any of those things  you must take the shortest route to that goal. So, what do you think I mean by the shortest route? What is the shortest route between two points? The shortest route between two points is a straight line. So, are you taking a straight line towards success or have you been taking detours or getting side tracked? If you have been getting off track and doing other things besides what is going to make you successful than you my friend are taking the long way and quite possibly will run out of gas before you get there. If you have been more concerned about other things besides your main objective then your taking the long way a quite possibly won’t make it. Being more concerned about the television or the beach before you do the things that are going to bring in the money then you can’t blame anybody but yourself. 

What you need to do is put things in perspective. Think of the things you want and what you want to achieve in life. Be specific about it for instance, if you want a new car, what kind? If you would like to have more money, how much? Put a figure on it so your target is more clear, because if you don’t have a specific target then how are you going to be able to hit that target? Or you may be settling for less than you really wanted because your target wasn’t clear. You have to have a clear picture of what you want in order to get what you want. You should also write them down and put them somewhere you can see them so your always reminded of your goal. Trust me it will work.

So once you have a specific target you are more likely to hit that target as long as you keep at it until you hit it. So, how do you suppose this can be done? First you have to have some kind of plan. Figure out what exactly it is you need to do and map it out and do it, don’t stop, don’t go on to doing other things until you have the things that have to be done, in order to accomplish your goals finished. A good thing for you to do is make a list. If you have a blog you know that the most important thing is to post to your blog everyday. This is something I myself haven’t been doing until lately and this is because I now have a map or a plan. So you know posting to your blog is important so do it. Make that the first thing you do everyday before anything else. One thing I used to do is get side tracked reading e-mails and looking at all the wonderful offers that were going to make me rich. Although there may be some great products out there, you are the only one in control of that kind of power. The power of making yourself rich. You can think about it, dream about it and pray about it as much as you like and nothing is going to happen until you decide that it’s going to happen. So before you open one e-mail or watch anything on the television you should be finding good content  and posting it to your blog or website.

Make that list and have it near you so you can keep jotting down things you need to do to be successful. So you can jot down ideas that will other wise become lost or forgotten. Take a little note pad with you everywhere you go, because you never know when an idea is going to hit you. Maybe it turns out not to be such a great idea after all. In that case just dump it. This is called a brain dump. As long as you write it down your subconscious is happy that you acknowledged it and will leave you alone. Plus, some of those ideas are going to turn out to be brilliant. I know that may sound crazy, but it’s a fact. It’s a psychological fact. Just try it and see what happens.

So, being successful is more than just having a great product. It’s about how bad you want it. Your not going to be able to dream your way to success. There is no magic formula or button that you can push to make this happen, it’s soely up to you. Once you know the things that have to be done in order to succeed then you have to take the direct route to doing them. Then and only then will you get what you want.

Get More Visitors To Your Site.

We have all heard that stuffing your blog or website with keywords is a good way to get traffic. Posting in forums or starting some external blogs like blogger.com or hubpages.com ( which is technically a external blog)  is also great ways to drive traffic to your website or blog as well. These are all the well known things to do and what a lot of your “experts” are talking about. You can also make videos for Youtube or Myspace to get traffic as well. All these strategies are great and are essential. Yet, there are some other things that you should do to get even more traffic which are really less time consuming as well. The only thing with these methods are you can’t abuse them. You really only want to use these methods maybe once a day or every other day per site. I think once a day is fine though. If you try using a few of these other methods more than once a day you’ll probably be seen as a spammer. They way it works is you usually give a title for the blog your submitting and a short description, then enter the url and submit it. That’s all it takes and you’ll get great results if you do this consistently. Some of these very simple things you can do to get some more traffic is submit your articles and website or blog to:

• Digg.com: Digg is a website for people to share and discover content from all over the web. You simply submit a story or article you have written and that’s it. You can boost your traffic by doing this one simple task. You can also find good material there as well.
•  botw.org or Best of the Web Blogs:  Another online community tool were you submit your blog or website.
• Blog Hub: Another good place to submit your blog which also has a blogger forum.
• Blogged.com:  A mix of blogs and blog news were you can submit your blog for free.
• Google.com/addurl: Yes of course the big daddy of them all. It’s probably a real good idea to add your url here from time to time.

This is just a few sites where you can submit your blog or add your url. If you do a search on google like ”submit blog, website” you’ll find a bunch of  websites that offer this service. This is just one of the things that you can do to get traffic. Another way that you can accomplish this is to ping your website or blog. Basically what your doing when you ping is notifying a web server or servers that your site has been updated. This signal is sent to multiple servers across the Internet. Some of the sites where you can ping your site are:

• http://autopinger.com/
• http://www.pingmyblog.com/
• http://technorati.com/ping/

These are just a few of the many websites that you can ping your blog. Again, if you want more just do a search and you’ll find more of them than you will ever be able to use. I would suggest sticking with the more popular ones, you don’t want to get caught up doing this all day ya know. There are some more ideas for you to get traffic and it won’t take up hardly any of your day, unless your trying to use every single ping service available. The only other thing with having a company provide this service is there servers could go down or the company could fold. Just make sure you sign up with a reputable company and you should be ok.

One of the best ways to get traffic to your website, blog or product is through media. YouTube is the largest media provider on the Internet as we all surely know. Yet, just throwing a video up and putting a link somewhere isn’t all that is takes to make your video go viral with YouTube. There are some things you must do to optimize your YouTube video that I have just learned from a couple of my mentors Yaro Stark and Gideon Shalwick.

One of the first things you must do is provide valuable content. Something that is going to give the viewer a reason to watch your YouTube video.  Basically this is content that is going to show people how to do something they wouldn’t other wise know. It is also content that isn’t all over the Internet already. How to videos are the hottest types of videos on the Internet right now.  Make your video interesting, funny, controversial, and ask your viewers questions and have them leave thier answers in the comment area.

The next thing is something a lot of people don’t bother doing. This is optimizing your channel.  For instance, in the description area for your video the first thing you will want there is the url to your blog or product and in the profile area.  You can also use annotations to put your url in the video. You’ll also want to put the appropriate tags for your video in the tags area. This will greatly increase your chances of being in the top spot of the search engine results.  

Another thing that you should do when setting up your YouTube video is select some targeted keywords and strategically place them in places such as the headline area, the tags , comments area and in the description area. Do keep in mind even though you want all these areas to be keyword rich you also do not want to over saturate them. 

 Link your videos from wherever you can. Such as http://delicious.com/ or http://digg.com/, your blog ( of course) and forums. Use Twitter and Facebook to promote your videos. Send a link to your video to your email list if  you have one.

You will also want to ping your YouTube channel. One of the more popular places to do this is http://www.pingoat.com/. One final thing that you can do is search for other videos in the same category. Click on one that interests you. Below the video you’ll see a section for video responses. Post your video as a video response.

If you take these steps you will have a much better chance to  increase the traffic to your YouTube video and make it go Viral.

If you have been working on a blog or posting articles then you probably know how hard it can be at times to come up with content for your blogs or articles. If you have been listening to some of the top Internet Marketing experts then you have probably learned a few tricks for coming up with content. Some of the ebooks and articles I have read talk about doing searches and visiting forums to see what questions people are asking or what they are searching for to get ideas. I’m sure these strategies are good ones, in fact I know they are, yet they can be very time consuming. So, what I have done is come up with another strategy to save some time.

Here’s what I have come up with. Now some of you may already be in a niche that you have a lot of knowledge in, but this may come in handy for you on certain days as well. Maybe your having a bad day and are experiencing a bad case of writers block. If you are new to the niche your trying to work with I think this strategy will work great for you.

• Go to your favorite blogs and do your research there. I have noticed when I am reading someone Else’s blog I will suddenly come up with an idea of something to write about. I don’t know why this happens, it just does. If nothing pops into your head, just take one of the articles, absorb and understand it, then go write about the subject on your blog. I am by no means saying copy anyone, your post should be 100% original. By doing this your going to be helping someone who may not have read about the subject and you are learning at the same time. If you draw a blank on a particular point refer back to the article just to refresh your memory. But again I say, do not copy anything, this should be done in your own words. The way I see it is everybody starts somewhere, and as  long as your trying to learn, be original and help someone then this strategy is ok.
• If your like me you probably have 10,000 free ebooks on your computer. Take one of the short ebooks or a chapter of one of the long ones and read it. Fully digest the material so that you know and understand it. Now you know something that someone may not know and can therefore make a post on the subject.
• Read some of  your own past posts. You have most likely mentioned something in some of  them that could be elaborated on.

I try to get all my information from the most popular blogs and ebooks. Try to focus on the names you are hearing about all the time. Here are a couple of my favorite blogs to get ideas from:
